Writing and Tracing

What are some ways to help learn to write letters besides tracing? Along with having your child practice tracing and writing letters, you can have your child make letters with fun materials. Have outside and have your child use a wet paintbrush to pain letters on a warm sidewalk, write letters in the sand with stick, or use sidewalk chalk to create driveway messages. If it is more of an inside day, have fun sky-writing and have your child use a finger to write letters in the air, make letters on a fogged-up mirror or window, or have your child write letters on your back as you try to guess what's been written.

Domino Maker

Dominoes originated in China, where dominoes or playing cards— the same word is used for both, and they are physically identical —are mentioned as early as the 10th century.

 Domino, small, flat, rectangular block used as gaming object. Dominoes are made of rigid material such as wood, bone , or plastic and are variously referred to as bones, pieces, men, stones, or cards.

Bingo Board Maker

Bingo...

In the U. S. , Bingo was originally called "beano". It was a country fair games where a dealer would select numbered discs from cigar box and player would mark their cards with beans. They yelled "beano" if they won.

Bingo is a game of chance.
As an English teacher, we can use bingo for teaching in English. 

These are step for making Bingo board.

BINGO Instructions

• PREPARE:  Print out different BINGO cards for each child plus a call sheet.  Cut out the call sheet and put the squares into a hat or bowl.
    
• DISTRIBUTE:  Hand out one Bingo card to each child (each card should be different).
    
• CALL:  The caller should pull out one image, describe it and show it to the children.
    
• MARK IMAGE:  The children will then place pennies, rocks, fun foam pieces or something similar on the called image if it is on their card.  (You can also make your own markers)
  
    
• WINNING:  Once a predetermined pattern is made on a card, the child with that card calls out BINGO.
